Hyatt Regency Delhi is pleased to announce the appointment of Gaurav Chandna as the Director of Operations. In his new role, Gaurav will be responsible for overseeing all-round hotel operations, identifying, and strategising new revenue streams for the hotel, branding and asset management, facilitating operational growth and innovating upon solutions that elevate guest experiences.
Gaurav began his professional journey in the hospitality industry nearly 17 years ago when he went onto earn a degree in hotel management from Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (B.C.I.H.M), Delhi. Over these years, he has proven his dexterity in every role. A driven and a skilled leader, Gaurav has grown through the ranks at Hyatt Regency Delhi and has gained invaluable experience by undertaking diverse tasks and assignments.
Prior to this role, Gaurav was heading the post of Director of Food and Beverages at Hyatt Regency Delhi where he was responsible for overseeing all food and beverages operations including banquet spaces, outdoor events, in-room dining, home delivery and the award-winning restaurants. He has played a key role in helping the hotel set a benchmark of excellence in dining and ensuring that the quality and service is in line with Hyatt’s international brand standards.
Gaurav has been recognized with multiple awards and accolades such as the F&B Manager of the Year 2021, India International Hospitality Expo, the Food and Beverage Manager of the Year (North Zone) by the BW HOTELIER Indian Hospitality Awards, 2020 amongst others.
Apart from his work, Gaurav is a true gourmand at heart and is passionate about cooking and often prepares delicious meals from diverse cuisines for his friends and family.
