Nakul Anand has been re-elected as chairman of the Federation of Associations in Indian Tourism and Hospitality (FAITH), a group of ten trade associations representing the travel, tourism, and hospitality industries. Anand has served as the executive director of ITC Group since its establishment.
All the office-bearers have been elected unanimously at the elections held in Delhi, a release says. Rajiv Mehra, president of Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) has been reelected unopposed as general-secretary. Jyoti Mayal (TAAI) and Tejbir Singh Anand (ATOAI) are the vice-presidents and PP Khanna (ADTOI) the treasurer for the next two-year term.
FAITH released a vision plan for India tourism @2035 earlier this year, urging support from governments at different level in order to attain 75 million international inbound tourists by 2035. The Federation plans to hold its flagship travel mart event, India Tourism Mart, in 2023.
