Qatar reinstates visa-on-arrival policy

Qatar has reinstated its visa-on-arrival policies, replacing the Hayya card it had introduced for the FIFA World Cup.

Visitors from more than 95 nationalities, including Indians, can once again opt for Visas-on-Arrival and explore new attractions that have opened in the lead up to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Commenting on the latest travel rules, Haya Al-Noami, Head of Promotions Sector, Qatar Tourism, said, “Looking back at the end of a truly remarkable month of celebrations, we are so proud to have hosted some of the year’s most memorable moments. We are confident that Qatar’s iconic attractions, warmth and openness, and infectious enthusiasm will continue to draw in visitors and residents toward the end of the year and into the next.”

Indian, Pakistani and Thai nationality citizens can obtain a free visa on arrival in Qatar for a maximum stay of 30 days or according to hotel reservation and under the following conditions:

Valid Passport for at least six months

Confirmed return tickets

Confirmed hotel reservation through ‘Discover Qatar’ website only (Hotel
reservations from other websites are not accepted)
