Formula 1® has announced the extension of its Global Partnership with MSC Cruises, one of the world’s largest and fastest growing cruise brands, ahead of this weekend’s Grand Prix in Miami. The renewal will see MSC Cruises continue as a Global Partner of Formula 1 until the end of the 2026 season.
The multi-year agreement will see Formula 1 and MSC Cruises build on its successful collaboration and further activate the partnership through an extended programme of activity. As part of the new agreement, MSC Cruises will bring ships to select Grand Prix weekends, offering fans a unique hospitality experience from track to ship, with the first of these packages launching in Abu Dhabi, with MSC Virtuosa for the final round of the 2023 Formula 1 season.
As part of the deal, MSC Cruises will become the Title Race Partner for the FORMULA 1 MSC CRUISES BELGIAN GRAND PRIX 2023 and will host an engaging fan zone activation for fans across the race weekend.
Both companies will also continue to work together toward the shared goal of making sustainable change, with Formula 1 and MSC Cruises committed to becoming Net Zero by 2030 and 2050, respectively.
Stefano Domenicali, President & CEO of Formula 1, said:
