Thomas Cook (India) Limited has signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with India’s Ministry of Tourism to uplift destination experiences across the country.

Under the agreement, Thomas Cook will integrate a co-branded feedback form-standardised by the Ministry-across its digital and physical platforms to collect real-time traveller feedback on cleanliness, safety, accessibility, service standards, and overall visitor experience.

By aggregating and anonymising insights, Thomas Cook will share data with the Ministry to help identify top-performing tourist destinations and inform targeted infrastructure improvements and service upgrades.

As part of the launch, Seema Jain (Director, Destination Development Division, Ministry of Tourism) and Romil Pant (EVP & Head – Holidays, Thomas Cook India) signed the pact, in the presence of senior government officials including Suman Billa (Additional Secretary & Director General, Ministry of Tourism).

“This collaboration enables the Ministry to collect honest, real-time insights from travellers at key destinations,” said Suman Billa. “We aim to spotlight places that deliver exceptional experiences and upgrade those that need improvement.”

Rajeev Kale, President & Country Head (Holidays, MICE, Visa) at Thomas Cook India, added, “Our reach and knowledge of Indian travellers position us well to contribute meaningful data. We believe this collaboration can elevate standards, safety, and sustainability across India’s tourism ecosystem.”

The MoU’s initial term is three years, and it underscores a shared commitment toward data-driven reforms in India’s tourism sector.
