Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced the opening of Taj Hessischer Hof Frankfurt, marking a significant milestone as the iconic Taj brand makes its debut in Continental Europe. The opening reinforces IHCL’s global expansion strategy and strengthens its presence in key international gateway cities.
Located in the heart of Frankfurt, Germany, the luxury hotel has reopened following extensive renovations, blending the rich heritage of the historic Hessischer Hof with Taj’s renowned hospitality and contemporary luxury. The property features 126 elegantly designed rooms and suites, offering guests a unique combination of European grandeur and the warmth of Indian hospitality.
Founded in 1903, Taj is recognized as one of the world’s most respected luxury hospitality brands, with a portfolio of more than 150 hotels across 15 countries. The opening of Taj Hessischer Hof Frankfurt marks another important chapter in the brand’s international growth journey.
The hotel offers a range of signature experiences, including Bombay Brasserie, which makes its German debut with a menu inspired by Indian and Bombay cuisine. Guests can also enjoy the legendary Jimmy’s Bar, known for its classic ambiance, live piano performances, and signature cocktails, as well as the elegant Lobby Bar serving teas, coffees, and pastries.
Further enhancing the guest experience, the property features J Wellness Circle, Taj’s wellness brand inspired by ancient Indian healing traditions and Ayurveda, alongside a modern fitness centre, premium event spaces, and The Chambers, Taj’s exclusive members-only business club.
