Oneworld and Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) have announced a landmark partnership, creating the first-ever collaboration between a global airline alliance and a hotel loyalty programme. Effective immediately, the alliance brings together oneworld’s extensive network of member airlines and IHCL’s hospitality portfolio through Taj InnerCircle – NeuPass, offering travellers a more integrated and rewarding travel experience.
The partnership covers IHCL’s diverse collection of brands, including Taj, Claridges Collection, Brij, SeleQtions, Clarks, Gateway, Vivanta, Ginger, Tree of Life and amã Stays & Trails. Through this collaboration, oneworld Emerald, Sapphire and Ruby members will gain access to exclusive savings and on-property benefits across participating IHCL hotels worldwide.

The collaboration connects oneworld’s network of nearly 1,000 destinations with IHCL’s portfolio of more than 630 hotels across four continents. Iconic properties included within the portfolio are Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai; Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur; The Pierre, New York; and St. James’ Court, London.

Under the partnership, oneworld Emerald members will receive a 15 per cent discount on best available room rates, food and non-alcoholic beverages, and spa treatments at participating IHCL hotels. Sapphire and Ruby members, along with other eligible loyalty members, will receive a 10 per cent discount on similar offerings. First-time guests booking participating IHCL hotels will also receive exclusive accommodation and dining vouchers.
The alliance further introduces reciprocal loyalty recognition. oneworld Emerald members will be matched to Taj InnerCircle – NeuPass Gold status, while Sapphire and Ruby members will receive NeuPass Silver status. Likewise, Taj InnerCircle – NeuPass Gold and Platinum members holding a frequent flyer membership with a oneworld airline will be matched to oneworld Sapphire status, while Copper and Silver members will receive oneworld Ruby status.

Future phases of the partnership may also enable members to earn airline loyalty points on hotel stays through select oneworld carrier programmes, further strengthening the connection between global travel and hospitality.
