Accor Elevates Mohammad Ali to Director of Global Sales – India

August 8, 2024 – Accor, a leader in the global hospitality industry, is pleased to announce the promotion of Mohammad Ali to the position of Director of Global Sales – India. This appointment underscores Accor’s commitment to recognizing and nurturing exceptional talent within its organization.

Mohammad Ali began his journey with Accor in 2010 as the Director of Sales – MICE. Through his outstanding performance and unwavering dedication, he quickly ascended through the ranks. In 2017, Ali was promoted to the role of Area Director of Global Sales – North India, following the establishment of Accor’s Global Sales Office. His impressive track record continued as he assumed the position of Area Director of Global Sales – West India in 2019, based in Mumbai. In this role, Ali provided strategic leadership and direction, significantly contributing to revenue growth across the region.

Throughout his career with Accor, Mohammad Ali has been instrumental in expanding the brand’s footprint in India’s diverse markets. His strategic acumen and leadership have been key in achieving remarkable results and fostering enduring relationships with key stakeholders. Ali’s educational background includes a degree in Strategic Management from XLRI Jamshedpur, an MBA from NIMB Chennai, and a diploma in Hotel Management from RIHM Jamshedpur. Before joining Accor, he held prominent positions with several esteemed hospitality brands, which enriched his expertise and leadership capabilities.
