AFECA ASIA MICE Youth Challenge 2025 Winners Announced

The 10th edition of the AFECA, Asia MICE Youth Challenge (AAMYC), concluded successfully on 6 November 2025 at the JIEXPO Convention Centre & Theatre, Jakarta, Indonesia, bringing together the brightest young minds in Asia’s MICE industry.

The Champion title was awarded to BrightSteps Event, Sunway University, from Malaysia, recognized for their exceptional creativity, innovative strategy, and outstanding presentation that captivated both judges and audience alike. The First Runner-Up went to Shakka, ITE College Central from Singapore, while the Second Runner-Up was claimed by EXPOSURE, Dongduk Women’s University from the Republic of Korea.

Organized by the Asian Federation of Exhibition & Convention Associations (AFECA), this milestone 10th edition saw 21 teams from 10 countries/regions compete in a dynamic showcase of innovation and passion for the events industry. The event is hosted by ASPERAPI (Indonesia Exhibition Companies Association) and supported by esteemed sponsors, including R.E. Rogers India Pvt. Ltd.; the Association of Korean Exhibition Industry (AKEI); Services International; Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC); Conference and Destination Management (CDM); Impact Exhibition Management Co. Ltd.; Nippon Display Federation (NDF); Prime Marketing Services Promotion Ltd.; and Kaoshiung Global MICE Association (KGMA).

Celebrating AFECA’s 20th Anniversary

This year’s Challenge marked a dual celebration – the 10th edition of AAMYC and AFECA’s 20th Anniversary. The event underscored AFECA’s continued commitment to nurturing the next generation of MICE leaders through collaboration, creativity, and competition.

Mr. Sandeep Gurwara, Chair of the Organising Committee, shared,
“The 10th AFECA Asia MICE Youth Challenge showcased the extraordinary talent and professionalism of our young participants. Their passion reaffirms the strong future of Asia’s MICE industry.”

Ms. Dilys Yong, Advisor of the Organising Committee and Honorary President of AFECA, added,
