Air Canada and Pegasus Airlines have launched a new interline agreement to streamline travel between Canada and Türkiye. This partnership allows passengers to book onward flights with Pegasus Airlines on a single ticket, with baggage checked through to the final destination, simplifying the travel process.

The agreement connects Air Canada’s transatlantic services with Pegasus’ network via key European hubs, such as Amsterdam, Frankfurt, and Zurich, enabling seamless connections to Istanbul and İzmir. The partnership provides Air Canada passengers with access to nine Pegasus-operated routes within Türkiye, enhancing their travel options without the need for new direct routes.

Air Canada sees the agreement as a way to expand its reach into a growing market, offering increased flexibility for passengers. Pegasus Airlines also benefits by gaining enhanced visibility among North American travellers.

Both airlines have also expressed interest in evolving the relationship into a full codeshare agreement, which could include reciprocal loyalty program benefits and expanded scheduling coordination. This collaboration strengthens the airlines’ networks and enhances connectivity between North America and Türkiye.
