The 18th Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business (APK) will take place in 2024, bringing together business leaders, executives, and political representatives to discuss and promote economic relations between Germany and the Asia-Pacific region. Since its inception in 1986, this flagship event has been held biennially in various locations across the Asia-Pacific.

Jointly organized by the Asia-Pacific Committee of German Business (APA), the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), and the German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHK) in Asia-Pacific, the conference serves as a platform for deepening dialogue on current economic developments and building personal and economic ties.

Co-chaired by Roland Busch, APA Chairman and President and CEO of Siemens AG, and Robert Habeck, Vice Chancellor and Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, the conference aims to address industrial development, resource conservation, and climate protection.

The 2024 conference will coincide with the Indian-German Government Consultations, featuring keynote addresses from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chancellor Olaf Scholz of the Federal Republic of Germany on the first morning of the event.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to gain insights from exclusive interviews with key leaders, including Robert Habeck and Roland Busch, who will discuss global economic challenges, opportunities in the Indo-Pacific region, and the significance of the APK in fostering sustainable industrial solutions.

The Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business 2024 promises to be a pivotal event for shaping the future of industrial relations and innovation between Germany and the Asia-Pacific region.
