Azerbaijan Tourism Board concluded three-city destination seminar in India

In collaboration with BRANDit, the Azerbaijan Tourism Board recently conducted a successful three-city destination conference for travel trade partners in New Delhi, Bangalore, and Mumbai. The event highlighted Azerbaijan’s steadfast commitment to India as a critical source market, and it aimed to educate and motivate travel agents and tour operators on the latest products and tactics for promoting Azerbaijan as a must-visit destination across all travel segments.

About 60 travel agencies and tour operators participated in the seminar held on October 16th at TAJ Hotel in New Delhi. The event held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Bangalore on October 18th brought together more than 70 travel agencies showing great interest in the promotion of Azerbaijan. The third destination seminar was held on October 20th at the JIO World Centre in Mumbai and around 80 travel agencies and tour operators joined the event.

The sessions highlighted a variety of subjects, including cultural heritage, natural beauty, adventure tourism, Baku, and beyond. The discussions also focused on Azerbaijan’s accessibility and convenience of travel. Destination presentations along with interactive sessions led by Elman Mammadov, Regional Manager for South Asia, International Markets and Business Events of Azerbaijan Tourism Board were also a part of the sessions where they shared their expertise on how to create unforgettable experiences for travelers to Azerbaijan. 

These seminars were designed to provide the tourism industry with the knowledge and resources needed to effectively promote Azerbaijan as a unique travel destination. The workshops provided attendees with updates on the country’s tourism strategy, insights into the destination’s diverse attractions, and marketing resources to help them effectively engage and cater to the diverse interests of Indian tourists visiting Azerbaijan.
