TMS. Please provide the readers with an insight into your early life and professional journey. What made you fall in love with this industry?
Dharmendra Kumar. I embarked on my career after gaining Master’s in Tourism Management from Lucknow University in 1999, Started Career @ Rs 4200 per month as Junior executive to head of the company . Spent 8 years there & handled the Job as per my own company , while take ownership of work assignments with honesty & diligently. In 2009 an idea came to my mind: Let’s become an entrepreneur. I gathered old colleagues and founded the company Geanis World with Ragini Singh and Ankit Dang.
Today, Geanis MICE is a team of highly experienced professionals who are guided by their own passion to deliver exhilarating outcomes in the fields of Travel & Hospitality , Conferences & Events -With our creative minds at work, we offer the most innovative solutions to help clients take their brands to a whole new level. The past 23 years have been valuable in the areas of Leisure Travel, Corporate Meetings and Incentives, Group Tours, FITs, Incentive Group Tours Project Management, Conferences, Events – Corporate & Social, Executive Management. I’ve travelled extensively in the Far East, the CIS countries, China, the Middle East, Africa, the United States and Europe etc . I share excellent business relationship with key corporate clients in India and Destination Management Companies all over the world.

TMS. What are some major projects handled by your organisation in the recent past? Are there any upcoming projects that you are working on that you can disclose at this very moment?
Dharmendra Kumar. The Major projects recently have been handling a series of Multicity Conference & travel arrangements for about 6500 travellers . Right now we are working on a project of about 3000 person’s Incentive group for a conference & Gala event.
