Goa Tourism made a highly visible appearance at the World Travel Market (WTM) London 2025, which convened at ExCeL London from November 4th to 6th. The state’s participation marked a significant pivot in its global marketing strategy, centering on the new identity: “Goa Beyond Beaches.”

The strategy’s main component is Goa’s official embrace of regenerative tourism, which makes it the first Indian state to do so. Officials stressed that this strategy goes beyond simple sustainability to actively rebuild regional ecosystems and guarantee that the advantages of tourism directly strengthen local economies while honoring the state’s rich customs and culture.

Under the direction of the Hon. Minister for Tourism, Shri Rohan A. Khaunte, the Goan delegation made use of the international forum to interact with media and travel industry professionals from around the world. In order to draw tourists looking for immersive and genuine experiences, the state’s pavilion displayed a wide range of offerings. These included eco-adventures in the state’s unspoiled hinterlands, spiritual routes like the Ekadasha Teertha circuit, and thriving wellness tourism (Ayurvedic and yoga retreats). Goa’s colorful food and ancient architectural landmarks were also featured in the exhibit.

Additionally, Goa advertised its brand-new global campaign, “Feels Like Goa,” which aims to capture the destination’s rich cultural and emotional diversity. Strategic initiatives to improve international air connectivity and establish long-term partnerships support the state’s commitment to becoming a year-round travel destination.

The state’s tourism industry views the successful engagement at WTM London as a turning point. By emphasizing cultural preservation, experiential travel, and community well-being, Goa hopes to establish a new standard for inclusive and responsible tourism growth, drawing forward-thinking tourists and enhancing its reputation globally.
