Gujarat Tourism is set to make a strong global pitch at ITB Berlin 2026, one of the world’s leading travel trade fairs. The state will present a new strategy aimed at positioning Gujarat, and India as a whole, as a must-visit destination for international travelers, particularly from Europe.
Known for its blend of heritage, spirituality, wildlife, and cultural experiences, Gujarat is promoting itself as a year-round destination. The tourism board is focusing on attracting travelers seeking authentic and off-the-beaten-path experiences. As part of its global outreach, Gujarat Tourism has partnered with PR expert Aria Arora to develop targeted campaigns for key European markets.
At ITB Berlin 2026, Gujarat will showcase some of its most iconic attractions. These include the Statue of Unity, the world’s tallest statue, dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Major pilgrimage sites such as Somnath Temple and Dwarka will also be highlighted as part of the state’s Spiritual Circuit.
The state will promote its Buddhist heritage through the Gujarat Buddhist Circuit, featuring ancient monastic sites like Devni Mori. For nature and wildlife enthusiasts, Gujarat’s Wildlife Circuit will spotlight destinations such as Gir National Park, the only home of the Asiatic lion, along with Velavadar Blackbuck National Park and the Wild Ass Sanctuary.
Another key attraction is the Great Rann of Kutch, famous for the Rann Utsav cultural festival. The state will also highlight its UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Rani ki Vav, Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park, and Dholavira. Ahmedabad, India’s first UNESCO World Heritage City, will also be promoted for its architecture, culture, and cuisine.
Through this international showcase, Gujarat aims to strengthen ties with European travel professionals and position itself as a diverse and immersive travel destination.
