According to the minister of finance, states will be urged to develop famous tourist destinations thoroughly, branding and promoting them internationally. “There will be a structure developed for grading the centers according to the caliber of their services and facilities. On a matching basis, the States will receive long-term, interest-free loans to finance this kind of growth. She stated, “There are a ton of opportunities for local entrepreneurship in tourism, including spiritual tourism.” Ayodhya, one of the newly popular tourist attractions, has witnessed a surge in visitors since the opening of the Ayodhya Ram temple.
She announced plans to implement projects for “port connectivity, tourism infrastructure, and amenities on our islands, including Lakshadweep,” in response to the growing demand for domestic travel. Additionally, this will aid in creating jobs.
