Hilton has officially signed on to open its second full-service property in Hyderabad: the Hilton Hyderabad Gachibowli, slated to debut in January 2029. Developed in partnership with Shree Venkateshwara Hotels and Convention, this much-anticipated hotel is positioned to become a game-changer for the city’s hospitality and business-tourism landscape.

Situated on ISB Road in Gachibowli- a rapidly emerging commercial corridor and IT/biotech hub- the property benefits from proximity to HITEC City, Neopolis, and Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. Gachibowli’s strong infrastructure and strategic connectivity make it an ideal choice for MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) travelers who are looking for convenience and world-class facilities.

The hotel will feature 304 guest rooms and suites, along with an impressive range of amenities, including an all-day dining venue, two specialty restaurants, two bars, and an executive lounge. It will also house a business center, fitness facilities, indoor and outdoor pools, and a spa. Most notably, the property will include a 62,000-square-foot convention center- one of the largest in Hyderabad- with three ballrooms, a junior ballroom, and two meeting halls. This scale positions the Hilton Gachibowli as a premier venue for high-profile corporate and industry events.

Industry leaders view this development as a transformative milestone for the city. Hilton’s Senior Vice President and Regional Head for South Asia, Zubin Saxena, highlighted Hyderabad’s evolution into a thriving economy and underscored the role of this flagship property in accelerating the city’s growth. Meanwhile, R. Venkat Ramana, Managing Partner at Shree Venkateshwara Hotels and Convention, emphasized that the hotel would meet the surging demand from business and MICE travelers while enhancing Hyderabad’s tourism infrastructure.

With Hyderabad’s economy estimated at around $94 billion GDP and more than 110 million square feet of Grade A office space, the city is primed for this kind of upscale hospitality investment. The launch of Hilton Gachibowli reflects both the rising demand for premium business accommodations and the city’s growing role as an international commercial hub.

This project also aligns with Hilton’s broader expansion vision. The company currently has 71 trading and pipeline hotels across South Asia, with a goal of scaling to 300 trading hotels within the next decade. India remains a cornerstone of Hilton’s growth strategy, with aggressive brand expansion plans already underway.

The Hilton Hyderabad Gachibowli will not only reinforce Hyderabad’s rise as a global business tourism destination but also enhance its appeal as a city that blends commerce and culture, making it a compelling choice for professionals worldwide.
