The India International Travel Mart (IITM) 2025 is set to make a strong comeback in Pune and Hyderabad, reinforcing its position as one of India’s most influential tourism trade events. Scheduled from 27 to 29 November at the Expo Centre, Deccan College, Yerawada in Pune, and from 4 to 6 December at Hall No. 2, HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad, the event promises to redefine networking and business opportunities for the travel industry.
With a legacy spanning over 26 years, IITM has consistently evolved to meet the changing demands of global tourism. What began as a small-scale exhibition has now grown into one of India’s largest travel trade platforms, connecting thousands of exhibitors with buyers, industry professionals, and influencers. Over the decades, it has earned a reputation as a reliable marketplace that delivers tangible results, making it a trusted name in the tourism calendar.
The organisers, Sphere Travelmedia & Exhibitions, believe IITM’s impact goes beyond a traditional exhibition. According to Director Sanjay Hakhu, the event serves as a “landmark platform” that drives industry growth by linking destinations, travel brands, and buyers. Co-Director Rohit Hangal highlights that Pune and Hyderabad, two of India’s fastest-growing tourism markets, provide the perfect backdrop for this year’s editions, offering exhibitors and participants fresh opportunities for collaboration and expansion.
The 2025 editions will feature specialised pavilions that cater to different segments of tourism. Domestic and international destinations will share space with sectors such as luxury travel, experiential tourism, and sustainable tourism. With the growing influence of technology in the industry, dedicated sections on AI planning tools, virtual reality previews, and contactless systems will also form a key part of the exhibitions. This blend of diverse sectors under one roof ensures that IITM continues to showcase the future of travel as an interconnected ecosystem.
Both host cities reflect the dynamic markets that IITM seeks to tap. Pune, with its strong IT, automotive, and manufacturing base, coupled with its young, affluent population, is rapidly emerging as a hub for outbound and MICE travel. Hyderabad, often referred to as “Cyberabad,” has evolved into a global technology and innovation powerhouse, supported by strong connectivity, a cosmopolitan population, and robust government initiatives.
Sustainability will also be at the heart of IITM 2025. Exhibitors will highlight eco-friendly travel practices, community-driven tourism, and green hospitality solutions, aligning with the expectations of conscious travellers and global priorities.
By combining business networking, innovation, and sustainability, IITM 2025 positions itself as more than an exhibition—it remains a vital catalyst for shaping the future of India’s tourism industry.
