The 8th Edition of the International Tourism Mart (ITM) 2019 will be held in Imphal, Manipur from the 23rd to 25th Nov, 2019.
The ministry is currently looking for Tour Operators and prominent travel writers from the following countries; Cambodia, Brunei, Myanmar, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, USA, Bangladesh, UK, Sri Lanka, Canada, Australia, Germany, Japan, France, China, Russia, Nepal, Oman, South Korea, Italy, Maldives, Netherlands, Spain, Saudi Arabia, UAE, South Africa, Israel, Switzerland, Kenya, New Zealand, and Portugal only.
On 23rd Nov – there will be the inaugural ceremony in the evening followed by the cultural programme. The Manipur Sangai Festival is also happening during that period so that will be showcased too. This will be followed by dinner. On 24th Nov – All the business activities would be undertaken i.e. Presentations of all the NE States, Panel discussions, B2B meetings between sellers and buyers, Press Conference, Interaction with the NE State Tourism Representatives in their thematic pavilions set up at the venue will take place. The evening cultural show and dinner to be organised by the State Govt. of Manipur. On 25th Nov – A sightseeing tour of Imphal and other tourist attractions will be organised.
