Marriott Bonvoy and Bank Mandiri have introduced their first co-branded credit card, offering exclusive travel rewards to customers in Indonesia. The partnership marks Marriott Bonvoy’s first co-branded card in Southeast Asia and Bank Mandiri’s first collaboration with a global hotel brand. The initiative aims to tap into Indonesia’s rapidly growing travel market while giving cardholders access to Marriott’s global network of more than 30 hotel brands.
The Marriott Bonvoy Mandiri Credit Card is designed to enhance travel experiences by allowing users to earn reward points on everyday spending. Cardholders will receive a welcome offer that includes a Free Night Award worth up to 20,000 Marriott Bonvoy points, along with 5,000 bonus points upon sign-up. The card also provides automatic Silver Elite status, with the opportunity to upgrade to Gold Elite status after meeting specific spending thresholds.
Users can earn up to five Marriott Bonvoy points for every eligible purchase, helping them accumulate rewards faster. These points can be redeemed for hotel stays, room upgrades, special discounts, and other travel benefits. Additional perks include unlimited access to selected airport and merchant lounges across Indonesia, as well as a first-year annual fee waiver.
The card is fully integrated with Bank Mandiri’s digital platform, allowing users to manage transactions, track rewards, and use virtual cards through the Livin’ by Mandiri mobile app. This digital integration aims to provide a seamless and secure financial and travel experience.
With Marriott planning to expand its presence in Indonesia by adding up to 30 new properties by 2030, the co-branded credit card is expected to strengthen the brand’s reach and provide greater value to Indonesian travellers exploring destinations both locally and globally.
