Moscow is ready to host the Meet Global MICE Congress: BRICS Edition on December 16-17, a leading event in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector. This year’s congress will gather over 129 international delegates from 17 countries, including prominent BRICS nations, as well as more than 750 industry professionals from Russia.
Delegates from countries including Brazil, India, China, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt will come together to explore key trends and future opportunities in the MICE sector. Over the course of two days, the event will host 13 business sessions, featuring insights from more than 50 expert speakers from both the business and government sectors.
Notable sessions include a comprehensive discussion titled ‘MICE Industry Through the Eyes of the Government,’ featuring officials such as Dmitry Vakhrukov, Russia’s Deputy Minister of Economic Development, and Evgeny Kozlov, Chairman of the Moscow City Tourism Committee. This session will focus on strategies for fostering sustainable growth in the MICE industry.
Moscow, an emerging centre for business tourism, aims to double the growth of its tourism sector by 2030, with a particular emphasis on expanding MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) activities. This congress, building on the success of June’s BRICS tourism forum, highlights Moscow’s dedication to enhancing international economic relations and driving innovation within the MICE sector.
