TMS. Could you tell us a little about your professional journey so far?

Munnmunn Marwah. Each and every chapter in my entire professional journey in the travel industry has been a rewarding learning experience. Over these years, I have traversed across different segments from hotel industry, airlines, cruise liners, travel technology and market representation. I believe this has given me an edge in understanding the nuances and nitty-gritties of the travel and tourism industry.

TMS. Could you tell us about the challenges you encountered throughout your career?

Munnmunn Marwah. The path to power for a woman is always very hard. With women still pushing to reach the top, they are faced with a number of challenges such as inequality in the workplace, fighting stereotypes, garnering support from other women, among many others. It is an ongoing battle for women to prove to their colleagues and industry stakeholders they are no less.

Moreover, in this competitive scenario, it is becoming even more critical to meet and exceed client expectations. Alongside this, as a leader, it is my responsibility to continuously empower the team and bring out the best in each member while focusing on our purpose of creating desirability for our clients. I’m proud that Think Strawberries is a result of that effort.

TMS. What would you consider to be the pinnacle moment of your career?

Munnmunn Marwah. While each opportunity is close to my heart, the highlight of my journey is definitely Think Strawberries! We were entirely new to the business of representation when we started out in 2010. The distance we have come in the past 14 years indicates the tremendous success we have achieved. Extremely proud and humbled to have played a part in positioning the company as a leader that is defining the frontiers of Travel Representation.
