Saudia Group has announced outstanding On-Time Performance (OTP) rankings for its subsidiaries, Saudia and flyadeal, achieving remarkable global results, according to the independent aviation tracking site Cirium’s November 2024 report.

Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, has claimed the top spot globally in OTP, with an impressive on-time arrival rate of 89.85%. This achievement follows over 16,300 flights and marks the third time the airline has ranked first, following its top positions in June and July of 2024. This success highlights the efficiency and integration of Saudia’s operations.

Flyadeal, one of the fastest-growing low-cost carriers in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, achieved an impressive OTP of 90.48%, securing second place among global low-cost carriers for the second consecutive month. Flyadeal previously ranked first in this category in September 2024.

Looking ahead, Saudia is set to receive 130 new aircraft in the coming years, supporting its goal to double seating capacity, expand to new global destinations, and align with Saudi Vision 2030 by bringing the world to the Kingdom. Saudia’s current fleet of 144 aircraft connects the Kingdom to over 100 destinations worldwide, offering exceptional services that blend Saudi hospitality with multilingual in-flight entertainment.

Flyadeal operates a fleet of 36 Airbus A320 family aircraft from bases in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam, serving almost 30 year-round and seasonal destinations across Saudi Arabia, as well as select cities in the Middle East, Europe, and North Africa. Starting in early 2025, the airline will significantly expand its international routes as part of its growth strategy.
