Star Air has launched a new non-stop flight service between Mumbai and Indore from February 2, 2026, further strengthening regional connectivity and offering passengers a faster, more convenient travel option between the two cities. The new route will operate three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The service will be operated using the Embraer E175 jet, known for its comfort, efficiency and spacious cabin configuration. With a flight time of just over an hour, the new connection is expected to significantly reduce travel time for both business and leisure travellers.

According to the announced schedule, the flight will depart from Mumbai at 16:35 and arrive in Indore at 17:50. The route is strategically positioned to serve business professionals, traders and tourists travelling between India’s financial capital and Indore, which is widely recognised as the country’s cleanest city.

The launch is part of Star Air’s broader expansion strategy, which includes the introduction of 50 new domestic routes in February. Through this expansion, the airline aims to strengthen its regional network and improve connectivity between key business and emerging economic centres across India.

Positioning itself as a boutique alternative to larger carriers, Star Air is focusing on delivering a differentiated regional flying experience. The airline emphasises service quality, punctuality and passenger comfort rather than high-frequency operations.

With the introduction of the Mumbai–Indore route, Star Air continues to expand its footprint in the domestic aviation market, offering more travel options and supporting business and tourism links between important regional destinations.
