The German National Tourist Office, India, is delighted to announce its participation in the upcoming 50th Germany Travel Mart (GTM), set to take place in Chemnitz, the cultural heart of Germany. This year’s GTM, scheduled from April 21 to 23, 2024, followed by a Pre-Convention tours starting 17th April is not just a celebration of half a century of successful tourism exchange but also a testament to the enduring partnership in the realm of travel and culture. A select group of trade professionals and media personnel from India will embark on a captivating journey through Germany’s enchanting towns and cities, engaging in a PreConvention Tour (PCT) and attending the main event in Chemnitz. This delegation will experience firsthand the rich tapestry of German heritage, with a special focus on UNESCO sites and the ‘Feel Good’ initiative, which encourages visitors to immerse themselves in the local culture and extend their stay.

In line with the themes of sustainability and eco-friendly travel, this year’s GTM emphasizes the promotion of train travel as a prime mode of transportation, showcasing Germany’s commitment to environmental stewardship. The German National Tourist Office, India, believes that sustainable travel options are not only beneficial for the planet but also enhance the overall travel experience by allowing deeper connections with the destinations.
