With an extensive career spanning over 23 years in the hospitality industry, Abhissek Basu brings a wealth of expertise in hotel management, operations planning, and food and beverage excellence.
Abhissek has had a remarkable journey with The Leela brand, holding various key positions across multiple properties. Before being appointed as Hotel Manager at The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, Delhi, he served as the Executive Assistant Manager – Food & Beverage at The Leela Mumbai. He played a pivotal role in opening two of the brand’s premium hotels – The Leela Palace, Udaipur, and The Leela Palace Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. Additionally, he had a significant tenure with The Leela Kovalam from 2011 to 2014.
Throughout his career, Abhissek has been instrumental in leading operations at signature outlets like Jamavar, The Great Wall, and Le Cirque Signature, where he managed diverse culinary offerings that garnered international acclaim.
As the new Hotel Manager, Abhissek Basu will oversee the hotel’s day-to-day operations, ensuring that it maintains its unmatched standards of luxury, service, and guest satisfaction. Known for his focus on team management, F&B, revenue optimization, cost control, and employee engagement, Abhissek is expected to continue elevating the guest experience while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
