Tourism New Zealand has welcomed Angela Blair as the new General Manager International. “I’m thrilled to welcome Angela to the Tourism New Zealand whānau. Angela brings a wealth of strategic marketing expertise, with a career spanning over 20 years,” says Tourism New Zealand Chief Executive René de Monchy.
The General Manager International is responsible for the delivery of marketing activity in offshore markets and aviation partnerships.
“There is intense global competition for visitors and Tourism New Zealand is working hard to build brand preference for destination New Zealand in our core international markets. Angela’s skills and experience will help us achieve this.”

Prior to joining Tourism New Zealand, Angela was a member of Restaurants Brands New Zealand Executive team, having previously worked for organisations such as Vodafone and APN, developing creative marketing programmes with a commercial focus.
