TTJ TRAVMART marked a major milestone in its journey with the successful launch of its first-ever international edition, TTJ TRAVMART Malaysia 2026, held on 18 June 2026 at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The event signified the expansion of one of India’s most established travel trade networking platforms beyond national borders, creating new opportunities for regional tourism collaboration and business growth.

Organised by Travel Trade Journal (TTJ), the event brought together a diverse mix of travel professionals, tourism boards, destination management companies, hoteliers, airlines, tour operators and travel service providers from Malaysia, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan and other international markets. The gathering served as a dynamic platform for networking, knowledge exchange and business matchmaking among travel trade stakeholders.

Since its inception in 2016, TTJ TRAVMART has built a strong reputation for connecting travel sellers with qualified buyers through focused B2B networking events across India. Over the past decade, the platform has organised more than 80 travel trade exhibitions and networking initiatives, helping tourism businesses expand their market reach and generate meaningful partnerships. The Malaysia edition represents the next phase of this growth story, taking the successful TTJ networking model to the international stage.

The Kuala Lumpur event featured structured business meetings, destination presentations, supplier-buyer interactions and networking sessions designed to facilitate commercial opportunities and strengthen regional tourism ties. Participants explored emerging travel trends, partnership opportunities and strategies to enhance tourism flows across South and Southeast Asia.

The successful debut of TTJ TRAVMART Malaysia underscores the increasing demand for cross-border travel trade engagement and reinforces TTJ’s position as a leading facilitator of industry connections. With strong participation and positive industry response, the event has laid the foundation for future international editions, further strengthening tourism cooperation and business exchange across the region.
