Kochi is set to host the highly anticipated Wedding and M.I.C.E Conclave from August 14–16, 2025, marking a significant milestone in Kerala’s tourism journey. Positioned as a curated B2B platform, the conclave aims to foster strategic partnerships between local stakeholders and national and international buyers in the weddings and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) segments.
Organized by Kerala’s state tourism authorities, the event is expected to drive long-term economic, infrastructural, and community-level benefits. Kerala’s efforts during the pandemic—especially in positioning the state as a leading destination for weddings and corporate events—are now showing results. In the past year alone, nearly 1,000 destination weddings have taken place across the state.
Kerala’s growing appeal lies in its natural charm—backwaters, beaches, hill stations, cultural richness, and world-class hospitality services. This conclave further strengthens its image as a premium destination for experiential and luxury travel.
The event will kick off on August 14 with an inaugural ceremony at Grand Hyatt, Bolgatty Island. The next two days will be hosted at Le Meridien, Kochi, featuring networking sessions, B2B meetings, exhibitions, and expert-led workshops. Over 360 domestic buyers, 40 international buyers, and 65 top service providers have confirmed participation.
Attendees will also embark on curated tours to major destinations such as Munnar, Wayanad, Kovalam, Kumarakom, and Bekal, offering global exposure to Kerala’s wedding and event infrastructure.
Themed “Center Stage Kerala,” the event will showcase a wide range of vendors—planners, resorts, bridal designers, photographers, caterers, and technology providers—highlighting the depth of Kerala’s wedding and event services ecosystem. The state’s tourism department is also working to upgrade homestays and guesthouses to ensure inclusivity and accessibility for all travelers.
Officials emphasize that this conclave is about more than business—it’s about empowering local communities. From hospitality workers to transport providers, the event is expected to benefit people across the value chain. The long-term vision includes skills development, job creation, and sustained business growth.
By hosting this landmark conclave, Kerala is not just promoting its scenic beauty, but also positioning itself as a global leader in destination weddings and business tourism—with Kochi at the heart of this transformation.
