Air India has announced a new interline partnership with Taiwan-based STARLUX Airlines, enhancing connectivity between India and Taiwan. This collaboration allows passengers to book single-ticket itineraries with coordinated baggage handling via major Southeast Asian hubs, including Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, and Kuala Lumpur.
Through this partnership, Air India passengers can conveniently access Taipei via its Southeast Asian gateways. In return, STARLUX Airlines’ customers will be able to connect to major Indian cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Bengaluru, through the same shared gateways.
Nipun Aggarwal, Chief Commercial Officer of Air India, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are excited to partner with luxury full-service carrier, STARLUX Airlines, to enhance travel options for our customers to Taiwan.” He further emphasized that this interline agreement aligns perfectly with Air India’s commitment to delivering premium experiences for its guests.
