Indonesia is set to strengthen its position as a global adventure tourism destination with Deep and Extreme Indonesia (DXI) 2026, a leading platform bringing together adventure sports, marine tourism, and outdoor lifestyle. The event is being held from April 23–26, 2026 at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Senayan, highlighting the country’s ambition to elevate its global tourism identity through experiential engagement.

Recognised as Indonesia’s largest exhibition dedicated to diving and adventure tourism, DXI 2026 features over 100 exhibitors and is expected to attract more than 20,000 visitors, including industry professionals, enthusiasts, and international participants. The exhibition spans diverse segments such as scuba diving, underwater photography, motocross, overland travel, and paragliding, creating a comprehensive platform that integrates land, sea, and air-based adventure experiences.

DXI 2026 is designed as both a B2B and consumer-focused platform, enabling tourism operators, equipment brands, and travel service providers to connect directly with buyers and end users. It plays a key role in showcasing Indonesia’s rich natural assets, particularly its globally renowned marine biodiversity, while converting interest into tangible travel demand.

A major highlight of the event is its interactive and immersive format, featuring live demonstrations, try-dive experiences, workshops, and expert-led sessions. These hands-on activities are aimed at encouraging participation in adventure tourism while allowing visitors to explore new experiences and plan future travel.

The event also emphasises strong community engagement, collaborating with more than 50 adventure and outdoor communities across diving, motor sports, and lifestyle segments. This approach not only promotes destinations but also builds a vibrant ecosystem around adventure travel.

From a MICE and tourism perspective, DXI 2026 underscores Indonesia’s focus on positioning itself as a hub for experiential tourism and niche travel segments. By combining tourism promotion with business networking and community interaction, the event is set to drive international visibility, industry collaboration, and sustainable tourism growth.
