‘Riders in the Wild 3.0’ Begins: Bikers Set to Showcase Madhya Pradesh’s Unique Destinations

The third edition of “Riders in the Wild – 2025” was officially flagged off on January 5th from the MPT ‘Wind and Waves’. This thrilling biking event, organized by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board in collaboration with Mostech, is designed to highlight the state’s immense adventure tourism potential, featuring its rich wildlife, breathtaking natural landscapes, and vibrant cultural heritage. The flag-off ceremony was led by Shri Santosh Shrivastava, Joint Director of the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, Shri Arun Paliwal, Executive Director of the Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Corporation, and senior officials from the Tourism Board.

Spanning seven days, the “Riders in the Wild 3.0” expedition will take participants on a captivating journey across the heart of India, offering a blend of diverse landscapes and cultural experiences. The itinerary promises an unforgettable adventure, starting with a ride from Bhopal to Gandhisagar Forest Retreat via Rajgarh and Jhalawar. The bikers will enjoy an overnight stay at a luxurious tent city, followed by a ride to Chanderi, exploring its rich heritage and visiting Pranpur, the first Craft Tourism Village. They will continue to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Khajuraho, taking in the region’s cultural and historical significance. The journey will also include visits to the Millet Museum, birdwatching, jungle walks, and stays in rural homestays to experience authentic rural life in Madhya Pradesh. The bikers will conclude their expedition in Jabalpur, where they will explore the Marble Rocks, Dhuandhar Waterfall, and experience boating and sky dining. The final stop will be at the Bhojpur Temple on January 11th.

The event features 28 participants, including two women riders, hailing from various cities across India, including Mumbai, Hyderabad, Udaipur, and Rajasthan. To ensure the safety of the riders, the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board has arranged for an ambulance and a medical team to accompany the rally throughout its journey.

In recognition of its growing adventure tourism sector, Madhya Pradesh was recently awarded the “Best Adventure Tourism State” title at the Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI) national conference in Arunachal Pradesh. This prestigious accolade highlights the state’s commitment to promoting adventure tourism as a key component of its tourism offerings.
