Saudi Arabia’s newest premium airline, Riyadh Air, has officially announced the launch of ticket sales for its daily non-stop service between Riyadh and Mumbai, marking its entry into the Indian market. The new route will commence operations on 4 August 2026, further enhancing air connectivity between India and Saudi Arabia.
The daily service will connect King Khalid International Airport (Riyadh) with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (Mumbai) using the airline’s modern Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. Passengers will have access to four cabin classes-Business Elite, Business, Premium Economy, and Economy-offering a premium travel experience for both business and leisure travellers.
India is one of the world’s fastest-growing aviation markets, and Mumbai serves as Riyadh Air’s first destination in the country. The airline aims to cater to increasing demand from corporate travellers, tourists, expatriates, and MICE professionals while providing seamless onward connections through Riyadh to destinations across Europe and the Middle East, including London, Madrid, Jeddah, and Cairo.
The launch is expected to strengthen bilateral trade, tourism, investment, and business relations between India and Saudi Arabia. With improved connectivity and premium services, the route is poised to support growing travel demand and create new opportunities for the travel, tourism, and MICE industries.
