The Korea MICE Expo 2024 (KME2024) successfully concluded from November 6-8 at Songdo ConvensiA in Incheon, celebrating its 25th anniversary. Organized by the Korea MICE Association (KMA) and supported by the Incheon Tourism Organization (ITO), Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism (MCST), and Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), the event highlighted South Korea’s role as a leader in the MICE industry.
The expo saw over 300 sellers, 400 booths, and 130 buyers from 31 countries, drawing more than 3,000 MICE professionals. Around 4,000 business meetings were held, creating valuable networking opportunities. The event’s theme, “Much, More, MICE,” showcased the growing potential and future of the industry.
KME2024 also featured diverse regional MICE alliances, with 18 cities from South Korea, including Incheon, showcasing their offerings. The event demonstrated the strength of public-private partnerships, with key support from government bodies and private-sector companies.
The success of KME2024 reaffirms Korea’s global standing in the MICE sector, focusing on sustainability, innovation, and collaboration. Looking ahead, the Korea MICE Association plans to continue expanding the event, strengthening Korea’s position as a premier MICE destination.
