Global hospitality major IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of Holiday Inn Goa Kadamba, marking a strategic expansion of its presence in one of India’s most prominent leisure and business travel destinations. The project is being developed in partnership with NCPL and is scheduled to open in Q1 2030.

Located in Kadamba, Panaji, the upcoming 100-key hotel will be strategically positioned to offer seamless access to Goa’s key attractions, including the Fontainhas Latin Quarter, Mandovi River promenade, Dona Paula, and the UNESCO-listed Churches and Convents of Goa. This prime location enhances its appeal for both domestic and international travellers seeking a blend of cultural exploration and coastal experiences.

The development aligns with IHG’s strategy to expand in high-growth leisure markets across India, where demand remains strong year-round. Goa continues to be a major tourism hub supported by robust infrastructure, dual airport connectivity, and a steady influx of leisure and business travellers.

The hotel is designed to cater to corporate and event-driven demand, featuring three dedicated meeting and event spaces, including a ballroom. These facilities position the property as an attractive venue for conferences, corporate gatherings, and small-scale exhibitions, further strengthening Goa’s growing reputation as a business events destination.

In addition to its event infrastructure, the hotel w, an all-day dining restaurant, specialty restaurant, bar, lobby lounge, and pool bar, along with a swimming pool, fitness centre, spa, and ample parking.

The signing also reflects IHG’s broader growth trajectory in India, where it currently operates 51 hotels across six brands and has a pipeline of 89 additional properties expected to open in the next three to five years.

Blending travel, tourism, and MICE elements, Holiday Inn Goa Kadamba is poised to become a key hospitality asset in Panaji, supporting destination weddings, corporate travel, and experiential tourism, while contributing to Goa’s evolving positioning as a versatile global travel and events hub.
